Wow! I can't believe it has almost been a month since I last posted something on here. Time really does fly! We finished up our Frazzled Female Bible study and are in the midst of VBS. Last night I had 27 kids (3rd & 4th graders) in my group. YIKES!!! Next week we are planning to do Frazzled Female makeovers. Come join us!! We will meet at 7:00 on Tuesday night (July 1) and will have a great time of relaxation. The following week (July 8) we are going to have a game night and then a guest speaker on the 15th. We are also excitedly looking forward to starting a new study & are considering "A Beautiful Offering" by Angela Thomas.
On the homefront - I guess you can call me a Biker Chick now. Scotty purchased a Harley! Can you be a biker chick if you don't ride the bike? I used to love to ride motorcycles, but it scares me half to death these days. I guess fear comes with knowledge??? Kristy Bedwell told me at church one morning that she doesn't ride with her husband either. She said that the president & vice-president don't ride together for a reason! Makes complete sense to me. I guess it's a shame to go through life dwelling on what could happen, but how do you move past it? I would hate to leave Emma Kate an orphan! I did buy a helmet though - it's rather cute - black with pink flames :) and I have a doo-rag that I purchased from the Breast Cancer Survivor site - it's black with pink ribbons. So, I'm ready to roll if I can ever get the nerve up. I'll probably just settle for small rides around the neighborhood!
I also have started a new medicine - generic Synthroid - for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. I'm waiting for it to make me feel like a thousand bucks, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm still SO tired, but I just know that it will kick in any day now. I did feel pretty good when I was walking this morning at 5:00, but I have been yawning all morning. My girlfriend, Donna, thinks they should have just given me glue instead since I'm falling apart :) (Thanks, girlfriend!! You're older than I.) Keep your fingers crossed that this medicine will work.
Have a great week!
