Yesterday I took Emma for Kindergarten registration. While I am so thankful that I have a growing daughter, it is very sad to know that her baby/toddler years have passed by. She did great on her tests and is quite excited to almost be a school-age kid!
I have one gripe though. The school gave me a packet of information to read over. It tells me & Scotty what Emma needs to know before starting school (most of it she has already mastered). The packet was about 7-8 pages and on every single page I found AT LEAST one misspelled or misused word. What kind of message does that send out about the state of our school system? I was stunned that they would send out material that was so full of errors. Let's hope that they teach better than they write!

Hey Cuz! I am very happy that you sent me your blog. It is nice to keep up with the milestones in you and the families life. I wish we had more time to keep in touch. I understand your sadness and joy with the kids growing up and becoming independent. Though it is sad that time seems to go so fast it is equally fulfilling to see them become their own person and are our GREATEST accomplishments in Life!
I am going to have to try my hand at blogging, I will let you know if I do.
Can't believe she is growing up so fast! Cherish every moment!
